About Us

Furniture by Waweru is a Kenya-based furniture, lighting and interior décor brand creating contemporary pieces for modern Kenyan homes, offices and commercial spaces.

We believe good furniture should combine thoughtful design, functionality and craftsmanship. Every piece we create receives attention to detail throughout the process — from material selection and construction to finishing and final presentation.

Our goal is to create furniture that is not only visually appealing, but also practical, durable and made to become part of the spaces it occupies.

What We Do

We design and produce furniture, lighting and woodcraft across three main areas:

Furniture

Coffee tables, study desks, shelving, credenzas, bedroom furniture, dining furniture, office furniture and other functional pieces for modern spaces.

Lighting

Pendant lights, chandeliers, wall sconces, standing lamps and other decorative lighting designed to complement interior spaces.

Décor

Handcrafted wooden décor, home accessories, office accents and other pieces that add character to a space.

Custom Furniture

Every space is different, and sometimes a standard product isn't the right fit.

We offer custom and made-to-order furniture for clients who require specific dimensions, materials, finishes or designs. Whether you need a modified version of an existing piece or have an entirely new idea, we can work with you to develop a solution suited to your requirements.

Our Market

We are based in Kenya and serve customers across Nairobi and the wider country.

Delivery is available within Nairobi and to other parts of Kenya, with delivery arrangements based on the size of the order and destination.

Our Approach

We combine contemporary design with practical craftsmanship to create pieces suited to the way people live and work today.

Whether you're furnishing a home, setting up an office, developing a commercial space or looking for a custom piece, our focus is on creating furniture that works for your space.
